Designed by visionary urologist, Dr. Baldwin of Loma Linda University Medical Center, this patented percutaneous access device is a needle designed for use with minimum fluoroscopy settings with the goal of significantly decreasing radiation exposure during a urologic surgery. The needle’s detachable handle gives surgeons the ability to safely adjust the needle without placing hands directly into the radiated field.
